Your role will involve providing technical and administrative support to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely delivery of goods, and compliance with regulations. You will also monitor waste logging, assist team members and customers, and manage project documentation to ensure safety standards are met. Ensuring that all our projects run seamlessly and effectively.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage the ordering process for materials, ensuring customer requests are respected and documentation is collated. Influence material specifications to ensure value for money and procure materials in line with procurement regulations.
* Coordinate responses to customer, supplier, and contractor enquiries, focusing on efficient issue resolution. Handle daily enquiries related to purchase orders, invoice discrepancies, and general problem-solving.
* Monitor, collate, and analyse waste management across construction projects, ensuring waste transfer notes are auditable. Collate maintenance sheets for accurate asset management and ensure compliance with site accreditations.
* Handle project documentation from start to finish, including health and safety files. Collate surveys for construction schemes, obtain utility quotations, and monitor bills for cost efficiency.
* Maintain effective communication with suppliers and management regarding material quality issues.
