Job Role & Key Responsibilities
We're recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK FMCG manufacturer. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proactive mindset who enjoys continuous improvement and mentoring junior engineers in a structured and high‑performing environment.
The ideal candidate will have
* Conduct reactive and planned electrical maintenance on production line machinery
* Diagnose and resolve faults on automated equipment
* Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, safety, and performance
* Support and collaborate with internal teams and contractors
* Provide mentoring and technical support to apprentices
* Maintain up‑date training and knowledge relevant to the role
Desirable Skills
* Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification
* Experience in FMCG or heavy industry environments
* Strong fault‑finding skills on automated systems
* Passion for mentoring and team development
