About you: Level 4 qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering Proven experience with mechanical systems in a facilities management environment Strong knowledge of statutory compliance including PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, and COSHH Experience overseeing contractor works and managing maintenance activities Proficient in CAFM or maintenance management systems Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: experience with steam and pressure systems, working on large or complex sites, membership of a professional body like IMechE, NEBOSH qualification What you'll do: Ensure mechanical systems comply with statutory requirements and safety legislation Develop and maintain PPM schedules, SOPs, and compliance records Support maintenance teams and contractors through technical oversight Conduct site surveys, technical assessments, and inspections to verify quality and safety standards Manage contractor activities and oversee works to meet specifications Use CAFM systems to track maintenance activities and compliance data For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact for a confidential chat today.
