Overview
Store role involving frontline leadership within a family-run business and fast-growing team. The candidate will contribute to store operations, customer service, and team development while maintaining high visual standards and commercial performance.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team to deliver excellent customer service.
* Monitor and manage store inventory, visual merchandising, and be commercial.
* Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to meet store targets.
* Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Analyse sales data and monitor store performance to identify areas for improvement.
* Contribute to staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
* Deputising for GCM, supporting all departments, leading Shopfloor.
Requirements / Qualifications
* The successful candidate should have proven managerial experience and be physically fit as this is a very hands-on role and some heavy lifting may be required.
* Previous retail management experience and full flexibility are required; an awareness of plants is a plus but not essential, however excellent customer service and a high standard of visual merchandising are required.
* An inspirational leader for Centre staff ensuring that they receive clear direction and performance management within a culture of coaching and mentoring.
* Highly commercial and results driven with a proven track record in a management position.
* Positive and strong communicator and a skilled motivational people manager.
* Accountable for providing great customer service and have a keen eye for detail around the consumers' experience in the Centre.
* A solution orientated thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Full Time 40 Hours Per Week – Fully flexible including Weekends.
