IT Director / CIO – Multisite IT Landscape
The Package:- £Market Rate + car allowance + annual bonus + excellent Benefits
Location/Working Pattern:- Midlands, circa 4 days p/week onsite
The Role:-
Investigo are very pleased to be retained on a search basis by a leading Healthcare provider based in the Midlands, in their search for a pivotal IT Director. The role is to take ownership of their disparate & legacy systems and drive the strategy for aligning IT in the best way forward to enable business growth.
As such, you will initially scope the existing & various IT systems/infrastructure/ software (predominantly MS tech), with a view to then formulate the roadmap strategy for reshaping how they move forward more effectively. This includes extensive multi-site operations (across the UK), managing/growing an existing IT team, determine future tech strategy, day to day IT operations management and understanding how IT can better underpin/support the wider business as a whole.
You will also take ownership of the Data Governance/Management – looking at current process and how to best direct this for best practice methods.
The IT Director will work closely with the CEO, CFO and wider senior leadership team to improve the effectiveness of core systems, enhance data quality, and support the organisation’s continued expansion.
What are we looking for:-
The successful candidate will have significant experience of operating in senior IT roles, ideally already at Director level and be an engaging individual with excellent communication skills who enjoys working with and through their teams, whilst operating effectively with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Attributes/Skills
* Experience of large multisite IT landscapes
* A strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems and applications
* Proven background with data, reporting and business intelligence environments (including Data Management/Governance best practice)
* Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements
* An understanding of how IT can successfully support business strategy, with the right overall infrastructure/systems/software
* Strong stakeholder, supplier and financial management capability
* Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
