Head of Technology and Digital Services
Permanent, Full time • 35 Hours per week • Required From June 2026
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior IT professional to lead our IT Services department. The Head of Technology & Digital Services provides strategic leadership of the School’s technology environment, shaping how digital infrastructure, systems and services enable a high-performing, forward-thinking organisation. This pivotal role is responsible for delivering a secure, resilient and future-ready technology ecosystem that underpins outstanding teaching and learning, supports operational excellence, and enables innovation across the School.
Working in close partnership with the Director of Operations and academic leadership teams, the post holder will play a central role in translating educational ambition into effective, scalable and sustainable technology delivery.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, with responsibility for both strategy and service delivery, and a strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud services and cybersecurity. Experience working in an educational setting would be desirable but is not essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership for the School’s technology environment and digital services.
* Develop and implement IT strategy that aligns with educational goals and operational needs.
* Ensure a secure, resilient and future-ready technology ecosystem supporting teaching, learning and administration.
* Lead and manage the IT Services department and collaborate with academic and operations leaders.
* Oversee infrastructure, cloud services and cybersecurity with a focus on reliability and performance.
* Work in partnership with the Director of Operations on technology delivery and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role with responsibility for strategy and service delivery.
* Strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud services and cybersecurity.
* Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
