Role Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion with minimal supervision
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS
* Support partners in delivering excellent client service and identifying growth opportunities
* Lead and mentor junior audit staff, fostering development and knowledge-sharing
* Handle portfolio financial management, including WIP, billing, and debt control
* Attend client meetings and build long-term, trusted relationships
* Stay up to date with accounting and auditing standards, offering innovative, compliant solutions
* Contribute to cross-service line collaboration and client retention efforts

Candidate Requirements
* At least 4 years’ experience in accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge in audit and financial reporting, including group audits and consolidations
* A proactive, solution-oriented approach to client service and problem-solving
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in managing client relationships
* Proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and priorities
* Experience with CaseWare or Mercia audit methodology (desirable)
* A collaborative mindset with an interest in developing junior talent and contributing to firm-wide initiatives
