The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with additional needs.
* Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored support plans.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assist with classroom management and daily activities.
* Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a professional or personal capacity).
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to learning and development.
* A passion for education and helping children achieve their potential.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* An understanding of safeguarding practices (we can support you with training if needed).
