SEN Class Teachers (NQTs with SEN Experience Welcome)

About the Role:
As an SEN Class Teacher, you will take full ownership of a class group with diverse and complex needs, working alongside a skilled team of support staff and therapists to deliver tailored, person-centred education.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering creative, meaningful lessons tailored to individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
* Leading a class team and embedding therapeutic, communication, and regulation strategies throughout the day.
* Using a range of AAC systems including PECS, Sign-Along, and high-tech devices to support communication and understanding.
* Collaborating with families and professionals to ensure consistency, progress, and a holistic approach.
* Contributing to annual reviews and EHCP documentation with insight and clarity.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – NQTs with SEN experience are encouraged to apply.
* Experience working with pupils with complex learning needs, communication difficulties, and sensory processing challenges.
* Strong understanding of AAC and positive behaviour support (PBS).
* Confident leadership within the classroom and the ability to guide and inspire support staff.
* Excellent communication skills with families and external professionals.
