Our client, a leading primary school in Swansea, is seeking a dedicated and energetic ALN Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general classroom support to teachers and students in the foundation phase.
* Assist with planning and delivering educational activities to foster student engagement.
* Support the development of inclusive classroom practices, ensuring a positive learning environment for all pupils.
* Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to monitor and record student progress.
* Support individual learners and small groups to enhance their understanding and confidence.
* Help manage classroom routines and behaviour to maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience working with primary-aged children and ALN experience is desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments.
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
