Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Pershore (Office Based)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a busy team on a full-time, office-based basis in Pershore. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping function and play a key role in producing accurate and timely financial information to support the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping.
2. Maintaining and reconciling purchase and sales ledgers (accounts payable & receivable).
3. Processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
4. Preparing and completing bank reconciliations.
5. Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with financial reporting.
6. Monitoring cash flow and supporting with budgeting/forecasting.
7. Liaising with external accountant as required.
8. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
9. Proven bookkeeping experience in a similar role.
10. Strong knowledge of Xero accounting software.
11. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
12. Strong organisational and time management skills.
13. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
14. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
