Overview
Senior Project Planner (Conventional ReKits) at AWE. Location: RG7 4PR (onsite requirement up to 3 days per week, depending on business requirements). Salary range: £49,830 to £67,000.
Introduction: The role sits within a project controls team, working on a broad spectrum of projects within Projects and Programmes in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
* Lead on and contribute to the creation of project baselines, contribute to performance reporting and forecasting, and assess sub-contractor schedule submissions.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and specialists to guide project delivery control and management.
* Contribute to project business cases, change control processes, risk and opportunity processes, and peer reviews.
Qualifications and Skills
* Development, integration, and analysis of project plans
* Best practice planning processes and tools
* Confidence modelling processes and techniques
* Analytical approach with ability to interpret charts and spreadsheets
* Knowledge of NEC4, standard form of contract
* Provision of planning and scheduling expertise in support of a project team
* Ability to prioritise and work to challenging timescales
* Coaching, developing, and inspiring a team
Requirements
* P6 proficiency (proficiency may be tested as part of recruitment)
* British citizen, resident in the UK for the past 5 years to apply for SC clearance; 10 years for DV
