This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on high-value interior fit-out and drylining projects across East London and the South East. You’ll gain hands-on experience on live sites, be mentored by experienced Senior QSs and Commercial Managers, and build a clear path to becoming a fully-fledged Quantity Surveyor. What You’ll Be Doing (The Role) As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial team on multiple projects ranging from £3m–£9m — covering drylining, SFS, plastering, render, and fire remediation packages. Key Responsibilities: Assist with tender preparation, take-offs, and cost plans Support procurement and subcontractor management Help with valuations, variations, and payment applications Work on-site to monitor progress and capture changes Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting Learn the full QS cycle from pre-construction through to final account About You We’re looking for someone with: 1–2 years’ experience in a construction or fit-out commercial role A degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar Knowledge of JCT contracts (preferred but not essential) Eagerness to learn, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset Strong communication and Excel/reporting skills If you're a driven graduate or junior QS ready to grow with a leading contractor, this is the role for you.
