My client is seeking a National Account Manager to drive growth. This role combines strategic relationship management with hands‑on field activity, drives revenue growth across existing accounts, builds and maintains strong, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers, leads promotional planning and activation in line with customer calendars and brand priorities, identifies and pursues new opportunities within national and large clients, creates and presents compelling commercial proposals and pricing strategies, takes ownership of sales forecasting, budget setting, and performance tracking for key accounts, leverages data and market insights to refine strategies, highlight risks, and unlock opportunities, leads commercial negotiations with group buyers and procurement teams, and optimises margin delivery while balancing customer value and volume growth.


Responsibilities

We are looking for people who have 3+ years’ experience managing national or large accounts, ideally within the wine sector. Demonstrated commercial acumen, with hands‑on experience in P&L ownership, margin optimisation, and high‑level negotiation. Proven track record in both new business development and long‑term customer relationship management. Strong capability in sales forecasting. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders internally and externally.


Qualifications

Skill in presentation delivery and building compelling commercial proposals. Genuine passion for wine and hospitality; WSET qualification (or commitment to completing) is an advantage. Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally as required.
