PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are seeking a dynamic Program Manager in our Multiple Point of Distribution (MPOD) division, to be the linchpin of our supply chain operations. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods from manufacturers to our end customers, directly impacting our business success by ensuring products arrive at the right place, at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
* Supply Chain Management: Oversee the end-to-end distribution process, ensuring products are delivered efficiently from manufacturers to customers.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively participate in and lead various meetings, including weekly distributor and design team meetings.
* Action Tracking & Reporting: Maintain and update weekly action trackers.
* Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders including manufacturers, distribution teams, etc to proactively address route-to-market strategies, lead times, and cost impacts.
* Pricing Management: Ensure distributors adhere to agreed-upon pricing models, managing quarterly reviews and tracking product pricing against estimates.
* Demand Forecasting: Utilise Bill of Materials and regional trackers to develop accurate forecasting, collaborating with distribution teams to predict future demands and adjust inventory levels.
* Order Processing: Accurately and efficiently process orders, ensuring timely packing and shipping from manufacturers, and verifying adherence to agreed-upon sell rates.
* Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage stock efficiency to reduce risks to projects and explore opportunities for wider special projects.
* Distributor Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, ensuring a steady and timely supply of products while tracking their performance.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Capture and analyse key data points.
* Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate stock levels.
* Logistics & Transportation: Manage the schedule of the efficient movement of goods.
* Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of goods to ensure quality assurance before distribution.
* Customer Service: Resolve issues, and provide comprehensive support to customers regarding their orders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in supply chain management, electronic security distribution, or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and order processing.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in data analysis and forecasting.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities.
* Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in distribution.
