The University of Portsmouth is looking for an ambitious and technically skilled Senior Service Delivery Analyst to join our Student Service Delivery (SSD) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering innovative IT services that directly support students and staff across the University.
Responsibilities
You will provide 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line support through phone, email and on-site assistance, while helping to maintain and improve a wide range of digital services and technologies. From laptop lockers and smart learning spaces to virtual servers, SaaS platforms and chatbots, you will work with systems that shape the student experience every day.
As part of a forward-thinking team, you will develop your expertise in service management and ITIL best practice, gain access to further technical training, and have opportunities to lead projects and contribute to major University-wide digital transformation initiatives. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with emerging technologies, and making a visible impact in a dynamic higher education environment.
Qualifications
The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills and experience working within a strong customer focused environment.
Working Conditions
This position is based on-site at the Portsmouth Campus. The position is working on-site only, so we are unable to support hybrid working for this appointment. A small amount of flexibility may be available on discussion with local management.

Benefits & Salary Information: New appointments will routinely be made to the entry point (minimum) for the advertised grade. From there, the individual will progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade within a reasonable timeframe. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
