Job Title: Senior Environmental Advisor
Location: Southampton (and surrounding areas across Southern Water sites)

Purpose of the Role:
As a Senior HS&E Advisor, you will lead a team of HS&E Advisors, support the Framework HS&E Manager, and ensure excellent health, safety, and environmental performance across projects. You will help shape safety culture, improve compliance, and promote continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Foster an inclusive, transparent, and collaborative environment supporting our HS&E culture and behaviors.
2. Support the implementation of our HS&E strategy to promote ongoing improvement and learning.
3. Promote a positive HS&E culture aligned with Galliford Try’s values and leadership goals.
4. Represent and communicate HS&E standards in meetings, workshops, and reviews.
5. Implement and maintain our environmental management system in line with client requirements and company standards.
About You:
* Relevant HS&E experience in infrastructure, construction, or regulated industries
* Supervisory experience in HS&E teams
* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (essential)
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
* Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
* Membership with IOSH or IIRSM is desirable (CMIOSH or working towards)
