Food Service Assistant
£12.71 per hour, zero‑hour contract. Working hours 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Sunday. Location: DN22 0QL Gamston area.
This role requires flexible working, including weekend shifts from Wednesday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring all needs and requests are addressed.
* Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests at every point of their journey, answering questions, and resolving concerns.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and contribute to an inclusive and safe working environment.
* Comply with health and safety regulations and any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Qualifications
* Contagious passion for food and/or customer service.
* Enjoy working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
* Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution‑oriented perspective.
* Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
