Operational Transfer Pricing (OTP) - Finance AnalystDuration – 6 monthsLocation – Luton (Remote) - occasional visits to site may be requiredIR35 Status – OutsideAccountability for OTP sits within Group Tax who own the global execution of AZ transfer pricing policy across hubs and marketingpanies. The OTP team are specifically accountable for designing processes to monitor and manage prices and recharges between AZ entities toply with arm’s length transfer pricing requirements, managing global tax risk andpliance.You will be responsible for the calculation and review of OTP transfer pricing calculations. Working across the OTP team and with our stakeholders in finance, tax, and operations. Specific areas of focus will include marketingpany calculations, support service recharges, adoption of new legal entities.Whilst the role sits within Group Tax, your background will be more akin to Finance, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) over Transfer Pricing policy and documentation.You will bring an inquiring mind and personable approach to the role with the ability to interact with a wide range of business stakeholders to both coordinate the execution and explanation of transfer pricing positions.What you’ll do
1. Perform OTP calculations using the OTP tool
2. Review andment on P&L and transfer pricing positions with stakeholders
3. Understand the AZ chart of accounts and how this is used in P&L segmentation and recharge calculations
4. Generate andmunicate reports to Finance and operations colleagues to action invoicing and price updates in SAP
5. Support project initiatives to onboard new legal entities, manage change, and improve processes
6. Work collaboratively across the OTP team in Tax, shared Services, and IT
Essential for the role:
7. A Financial accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA equivalent)
8. Proven experience of working withplex integrated systems and data, applying appropriate judgement to deliver exceptional results
9. Strong engagement,munication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
10. Experience of working in a regulated environment
11. Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and deliver
12. Experience of working with cross functional teams
13. Experience of managing high levels of risk by making and explainingplex, logical judgements
14. Strong experience of finance systems such as Hyperion, SAP, Excel
Desirable for the role
15. Experience in an Operational transfer pricing role
16. Experience of working in a global organisation withplex geographical context
17. Pharmaceutical business awareness and/or knowledge
18. Familiarity with transfer pricing policy and legislation
19. Project management including system development lifecycle
