Kenworthy’s Chambers is seeking a confident and friendly administration clerk to support our Senior Clerks and Chambers Administrator. Located near Manchester City Centre, Kenworthy’s Chambers is a leading set of Barristers.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist Senior Clerks and Chambers Administrator
2. Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
3. Greet clients at reception and provide refreshments
4. Maintain the visitor book
5. Manage all incoming and outgoing post, including DX, Secure, Tracked, Royal Mail, and My Hermes
6. Ensure outgoing mail is ready by 4 pm daily
7. File documents and receipts
8. Replenish stocks and ensure conference rooms meet professional standards
9. Manage conference room bookings and create weekly schedules
10. Book video links and assist with virtual meetings
11. Inform clients of Health & Safety policies and Fire regulations
12. Implement security measures, including intercom communication and CCTV monitoring
13. Update staff sign-in records for absences
14. Manage emails, voicemails, and 'To Do' lists
15. Comply with Qualitymark regulations
16. Perform general tasks to ensure the smooth operation of Chambers
