Your role as an ECT:
Manage behaviour quickly and effectively in order to maintain and foster the best learning environment for each and every child.
Build strong relationships with; staff, parents and most importantly pupils. Your relationships just be built on trust, honesty and respect.
Marking work at the end of each day in order to assess and monitor progress.
Planning may be expected when on a long-term placements - the pay will reflect this added responsibility too.
