Field Service Technician - Gas Engines
Up to £40,000 plus Van + Bonus + Benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently working with a global leader in energy and power generation technologies to recruit a Field Service Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician to join their expanding UK service team.
This is a field-based role covering sites across the Worcestershire region, supporting the maintenance and servicing of large gas engines used in CHP and renewable energy applications.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites
* Perform mechanical and electrical service, repair, and commissioning on large gas engines
* Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and diagnostics
* Maintain service records and complete detailed job reports
* Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards while working on-site
* Participating in a call out rota
* Other duties as required
Qualifications
* Proven experience working on reciprocating engines, gas engines, CHP generators or heavy engineering equipment
* Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (electrical preferred)
* Electrical and mechanical maintenance skills (training can be provided)
* Flexible approach to travel and working on customer sites
* Full UK driving licence
