About The Role
* Carry a complex caseload to include major adaptations under Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs), moving and handling and postural assessments.
* Advise and support OTs with complex casework, as required.
* Lead OT Peer Supervision groups.
* Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to promote functional independence, wellbeing, and inclusive practice for adults with diverse needs.
* Work alongside OT Team Managers to share clinical expertise.
About You
You are an HCPC-registered occupational therapist with extensive post-qualification experience in adult social care.
You Have
* Substantial experience in housing adaptations, including DFG processes and major structural changes.
* Expert knowledge of moving and handling principles, risk assessment, and advisory practice.
* Expertise in postural management and seating solutions for complex physical needs.
* In-depth knowledge of legislation including, but not exclusive to, the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Housing, and Moving and Handling.
* A strong commitment to person-centred, strengths-based approaches.
* Skills in mentoring, clinical supervision, and evidence-informed practice.
* Excellent communication, decision-making, and partnership working abilities.
* Due to the nature of the role, being a car driver is essential.
