Surrey County Council is looking for a Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding Service in Reigate. You'll work within Surrey's evidence-based Family Safeguarding Model - a nationally recognised approach that brings adult specialists (mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse) into children's services, allowing for more holistic, joined-up support. About the role As a Social Worker in the Family Safeguarding Service, you'll work with children and families subject to Child in Need, Child Protection and Care Proceedings. You'll complete high-quality assessments, develop creative plans, and lead interventions that create safety, stability, and long-term change. You'll be part of a strong, stable team where reflective supervision, peer support and career development are embedded into the culture.
