Service Engineer
Regional Role - Covering Calne and surrounding areas
£35,000 - £45,000pa DOE
Our client, who specialises in security solutions, is currently requiring a Service Engineer to provide ongoing maintenance, support, and servicing of security systems and electrical solutions for their established customer base across the region.
Main Responsibilities:
Conducting scheduled and reactive maintenance visits to existing customer sites across the region
Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing security systems and electrical solutions
Ensure all work is carried out in line with standard practice, policies, and procedures
Provide effective and accurate service reports and documentation
Training customers on system updates and ensuring necessary company documentation is signed
Provide accurate communication to service admin and managers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Identify opportunities for system upgrades or additional services during site visits
Manage your own schedule and travel efficiently between customer sitesThis position will also include taking part in the out of hours support team. Ensure a swift response on out of hours calls to customers.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a form of engineering or electrical/electronics qualification with previous, proven experience in the Security industry or similar related industry maintaining and servicing systems. A full UK driving licence is essential for this regional role.
Any candidates with experience in the use and programming of Dallmeier, Dedicated Micros, Panasonic, Scantronic, Galaxy, Menvier, RBH Access, Lenel, Hisec and servers, are highly desirable.
