About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our Golf Professional Shop team. This role is ideal for a student, retired person, or anyone with a keen interest in golf who enjoys working with people in a relaxed, sporting environment.
You'll be the first point of contact for members and visitors, helping to create a welcoming and professional experience in the pro shop.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Greeting customers and providing excellent customer service
* Assisting customers with golf equipment, clothing, and accessories
* Operating the till and handling payments
* Answering basic enquiries about the golf course, tee times, and lessons
* Stocking shelves and maintaining attractive product displays
* Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well-organised
* Supporting the golf professional and team with day-to-day tasks
What We're Looking For:
* Friendly, approachable, and reliable attitude
* Interest in golf (playing experience helpful but not essential)
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer or till experience preferred, but training provided

Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
