We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Data Privacy (DP) Contractor to support a high-profile automotive client on a short-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience with European data privacy regulations, alongside a solid commercial legal background. This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility while contributing to critical compliance and contractual initiatives.

Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and support on European data privacy laws, including GDPR.
* Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure legal and compliance alignment.
* Support data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy-related documentation.
* Assist with the development and implementation of data protection policies and procedures.
* Ensure timely and efficient legal support within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements:
* Qualified legal professional with demonstrable experience in commercial law and data privacy.
* Proven expertise in European privacy laws, particularly GDPR.
* Ability to work independently and communicate complex legal matters clearly.
* Available to start immediately and commit to a 3-month assignment.
* Experience within the automotive or technology sector is a plus.
