Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, automation & robotics seeking a Short-term Rental Controller to work with their national key account customers. Responsibilities Overseeing the short-term rental process of the company’s fleets of forklift trucks with national key account customers Dealing with in-bound enquiries and being the point of contact for all enquiries Working closely with other controllers across the business to ensure customer’s expectations are met Organising the on-boarding of new customers through the accounts department Managing equipment required for deliveries through 3 rd party companies to include sourcing and costs Working alongside the sales, technical and install teams to ensure a smooth process for the client Requirements The company are ideally looking for and individual who is familiar with short-term rental within the Material Handling industry or similar. However, this isn’t essential, they would also be interested in speaking to candidates from a number of backgrounds. Candidates with a technical background who may be looking to get into a slightly different role could be of interest. Related industries which may be considered include plant hire, commercial vehicles, automotive or other related industries where rentals are involved. You will be required to hold a full UK driver’s license since there will be a requirement to visit customer sites from time to time. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of the company’s depot in Basingstoke.
