About the Client:
A leading independent school based in West London is seeking an astute and motivated Personal Assistant to join their team to support two Deputy Heads as well as providing further support to the wider team when required.
About the Personal Assistant Role:
This is an exciting, and varied role that reports directly to the Senior Deputy Head and the Deputy Head. You will be the first point of contact for the Deputy Heads and will provide diary management, maintenance of systems and filing; as well as general secretarial and administrative tasks to allow them to carry out their duties efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities include:
* Organising and maintaining the Deputy Heads' diaries and general administrative tasks as appropriate
* To act as a line of contact for the Deputy Heads, including managing phone calls, emails, written correspondence and visitors
* To be proactive about reviewing processes and to improve communication
* To provide administrative support to the wider teams
* To provide statistical / analytical support to the Deputy Heads, such as fortnightly reports
* To provide support for the Head in the absence of the PA to the Head
* To provide support for students and staff visiting the office with general enquiries in collaboration with other colleagues in the office
Required skills and experience:
* Previous experience in a Personal Assistant role (or similar EA position) at a senior level in a bustling environment is essential
* Previous experience of working within the educational sector and understanding how a school community functions is desirable
* Experience using Office 365 to an advanced level is essential
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; with the ability to relate well to people on all levels. While remaining highly discreet and confidential
* Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to deal confidently with enquiries
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Be flexible, resilient and willing to go the extra mile while maintaining professional standards of behaviour and dress

* This is a full all year round, the core hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday (8:00am 4:30pm during school holidays), although flexibility to work beyond these hours is required as necessary.
