Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Slough
Start Date: Immediate start
Salary Range: £13.69 - £16 per hour

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join on a long-term temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with potential for further opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional learning needs
* Help remove barriers to learning and promote confidence and independence
* Support students academic progress and personal development
* Work closely with teaching staff to implement learning plans and schemes of learning
* Play a key role in helping learners achieve their goals and succeed in college
Qualifications
* Level 2 minimum in English and Maths
* Recent and demonstrable experience of supporting people with additional learning needs
* Experience working with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, BSL
* A calm, patient, and caring personality
* Ability to operate with empathy and the ability to motivate others
* Ability to work as a member of a team
* Computer literate
* Able to work independently using own initiative
* Able to note take for students
* A clear understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
