Service Technician
Location: Remote (Regional Field-Based)
Salary: £29,000–£34,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
My client, a specialist provider of safety and evacuation solutions, is looking for a Service Technician to join their field service team. This role involves carrying out installations, preventative maintenance, and reactive servicing across customer sites while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive servicing on customer sites
* Install and maintain specialist safety equipment
* Complete digital service reports and documentation accurately
* Plan and manage service visits using company systems
* Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
* Identify potential sales or replacement opportunities during site visits
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and customer site regulations
Requirements
* Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Comfortable working independently and managing workload remotely
* Good IT skills, including tablets and Microsoft Outlook
* Experience completing service documentation and reports
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
