Position Summary
As a successful OTM Sales Area Director, you will have a high level of integrity and the opportunity to manage, nurture & grow your existing client base. You'll be part of a dynamic, motivated team that strives to sell, train and retain clients on the whole suite of OTM products. You will work as part of a collaborative sales team taking an entrepreneurial approach to become the UK's number 1 Residential Property portal.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of sales professionals within your area. Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to ensure team members are motivated, productive and focused on achieving targets.
* Drive sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets. Analyze market trends, identify key customer segments, develop sales strategies and actively participate in high‑level activities such as negotiations and key account management.
* Monitor market dynamics, the competitive landscape and industry trends. Leverage this information to identify opportunities, mitigate threats and make data‑driven decisions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, developers and other stakeholders. Understand their needs, address concerns and maintain high customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, revenue, market share and customer satisfaction. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards. Implement best practices, conduct audits and address any issues promptly.
* Stay updated with industry trends, market developments and best practices in real estate, technology and sales management. Continuously develop skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience
* People Management experience.
* Proven track record of sales success; experience selling property portals or other online portals preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow clients over the medium and long term, providing excellent service.
* Outstanding communication, presentation and objection‑handling skills, with confidence to make complex proposals.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to metrics effectively.
* Degree level education or equivalent experience.
* Consultative selling style with account‑management techniques to grow accounts over time.
* Ability to navigate a large organisation, identifying decision‑makers, influencers and blockers.
