We need a Programme Director with exceptional leadership skills to steer large scale, major organisational transformational programmes. They are expertly adept in the strategic planning and orchestration of multimillion-pound programmes to guarantee that business transformation is executed flawlessly.

About the role
The Programme Director is responsible for guiding the strategy of transformation programs, presenting recommendations to the board for approval, and then executing the program.
1. You'll implement comprehensive program strategies that aligned with the company's vision and goals. Determine essential outcomes, key deliverable, and necessary resources to guarantee effective program implementation.
2. Collaborating closely with executive board and senior stakeholders to align ensure outcomes are mirroring business requirements.
3. Offer robust leadership to cross functional teams cultivating a culture of teamwork and open communication.
4. Define the program's scope to fulfil the needs of the sponsors, and craft program workstreams/projects into a roadmap endorsed by the Program Board to achieve business benefits.
5. Establish program strategies with stringent control over the program budget and forecasts while maintaining rigorous financial oversight.
6. Actively manage interdependencies between the program and other initiatives or ongoing business operations.
7. Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the program's lifecycle. Formulate backup plans to tackle potential obstacles and secure program success.
8. Engage and manage Senior Stakeholders effectively, overseeing deliverables and managing expectations regarding schedules with key stakeholders.
9. Manage relationships with internal and external suppliers to ensure high-quality delivery at competitive prices, adhering to legal, compliance, and procurement standards.
About you
10. Proven track record of championing managing large-scale projects or programs.
11. Successfully deliver recommendations to the executive board .
12. Exemplary experience of supporting the scoping of business cases for and delivering complex programmes with commercial integrity
13. Accustomed to working closely with business stakeholders to establish and track benefits in a global organisation.
14. Strong background in business change initiatives and embedding IT-enabled business change.
15. Experience managing large programme budgets and complex schedules, implementing change in large global organisations.
16. Knowledge and experience in the Education Assessment sector is strongly preferred.
