I help to keep people safe and warm by…
1. Managing operational activities within budget allocations.
2. Managing both SGN employees and contractors across all the range of operational activities, including the Emergency, Repair, Replacement, Connections & Competency processes.
3. Providing a safe, efficient and effective service to all of our customers.
4. Managing performance, delivering improvements in performance by embracing innovation and challenging the norm.
What you’ll need
5. An extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and related health and safety policies and procedures is essential.
6. Highly motivated with a flexible and positive approach to work.
7. Good leadership, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills and be able to act on your own initiative.
8. Effective communication skills at all levels, within and beyond your own team.
9. Committed to safety and to providing coaching & leadership.
10. Be prepared to do extra to support colleagues during high workloads and incidents.
11. Be prepared to be mainly field based out on-site driving team performance
12. A full clean UK Driving License is essential for this role
