Are you an experienced pastoral leader with a passion for supporting student development and wellbeing? We are seeking a committed and driven head of year to join a dynamic secondary school in Solihull on a full-time basis.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as head of year or a strong pastoral background is essential
- QTS is preferred but not essential if you have previous pastoral experience
- Passionate for student wellbeing and excellent understanding of pastoral care
- Strong behaviour management and leadership qualities
Job Role:
- Lead the academic progress and pastoral care of the year group
- Work in collaboration with SLT, other members of teaching staff and parents to ensure you drive standards and iradicate any issues that may arise
- Monitor pupil progress and implement relevant intervention
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and ethos across all areas of student life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
