Clinical Administrator
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic person to support the Children & Young People’s Mental Health Team. This post is based at Shawbrook House in Leyland.
Part‑time (18.75 h) Monday Tuesday 9‑5, Wednesday 9‑12:45. Permanent post within the team.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient administrative support and excellent IT, keyboard and data‑inputting skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative and organise workload effectively.
* Co‑ordinate comprehensive administration and information service across the Mental Health Network, working with the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service.
* Work flexibly in response to the needs of the Network’s administrative service, providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by the Team Leader to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
* Communicate with a wide range of people, including patients and health‑care professionals.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 administrative qualification or equivalent experience.
* RSA 3 or equivalent.
* ECDL or equivalent experience.
* Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary mental health service is desirable.
