Their continued growth and success means they’re now looking to appoint an experienced and driven Electrical Estimator to join their expanding pre-construction team based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the preparation, development, and submission of accurate and competitive tenders for electrical building services projects.
You’ll work closely with their design, project, and commercial teams to ensure bids are technically compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions for projects typically ranging from £100k to £5M+ in value.
•Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess project scope and requirements.
•Obtain and analyse sub-contractor and supplier quotations.
•Conduct value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities.
•Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify technical details and ensure fully compliant tenders.
•Maintain and update the estimating database, pricing schedules, and tender documentation.
•Support the handover process to the project delivery team on successful bids.
