Permanent Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Ely, Cambridgeshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Ely, Cambridgeshire for a Permanent Farm and Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 4 weekends and 1 on-call night shift per week.

The role
11. Equine and Farm Animal role working alongside a team of 9 Vets two of which hold certificates.
12. The role offers a varied Equine and Farm Animal caseload.
13. The practice offer expertise in orthopaedics, reproduction, medicine and surgery. The position offers the Vet the opportunity to expand on areas of interest.
14. Flexible working and rota patterns available to accommodate a good work / life balance. EG Rota to work around the school run / holidays /lifestyle.
15. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service.
16. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.

17. Established Mixed Animal Practice - Equine and Farm Animal.
18. Purpose built practice which is fully equipped with hospitalisation and surgical facilities for both equine and farm animals. They are always focused on investing in new technology and ideas.
19. They have a team of 9 vets and 2 Nurses. They also have a support team of 5.
20. Practice is located within good reach of London and train links and airport.
21. They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.
22. The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

Package
29. Salary: Up to £60, per annum, commensurate to experience
30. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
31. CPD: Generous allowance of £1, with 40 hours to attend
