Overview
Seeking a Compassionate Carer – East Kilbride Area. We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to provide personal care and companionship for my brother, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair.
This role is Monday to Friday, 9.30AM – 4.30PM (flexible) with potential to provide respite care for occasional weekends.
What We’re Looking for
* Experience in personal care and companionship
* A valid Disclosure certificate
* Clean driving licence required
* We are hoping to purchase a Mobility vehicle in the coming months, and you would be required to drive this.
* Pet friendly
* Reliability, kindness, and a good sense of humour!
What’s Involved
* Supporting personal care needs including feeding, offering drinks, helping to dress/undress, assisting with toileting.
* Accompanying to a day care centre (4 days a week) and supporting in the planned activities.
* Planning an engaging activity for Fridays.
* Bringing positivity and support into his daily routine.
Hours and Pay
Hours: 35 pw @ £12.60 with potential to add more for evenings or occasional weekends for the right PA.
