You’ll build meaningful relationships with groups of all sizes, champion inclusive volunteering, and help create a culture where collaboration, confidence and participation truly flourish.You’ll also work to open up access by understanding barriers and finding creative ways to remove them so more people can enjoy nature, heritage and culture. Through co‑creation, partnership working and trying new approaches, you’ll help us grow community and participation work that feels ambitious, authentic and rooted in place.On any given day, you might be designing community‑led activities, mentoring colleagues on good volunteering practice, meeting partners off‑site, attending an evening event, supporting weekend engagement, or celebrating successes with the team. This is hands‑on work ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and building something meaningful with people, not just for them.As part of the property leadership team, you’ll guide and influence how we shape our community, participation and volunteering programme now and into the future.The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
