Industrial UPS Sales Manager
Location - Hybrid with regional responsibility.

Duties
* Manage customer expectations regarding enquiry and tender completion.
* Review, comment, and negotiate commercial terms, including credit requirements.
* Lead handover meetings and take ownership of commercial aspects such as margins.
* Attend customer meetings in person or via Teams as needed.
* Discuss and review initial proposals based on client specifications.
* Advise on suitable technical products, including AC UPS, DC Chargers, and batteries.
* Understand and interpret requirements for installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
* Support tendering engineers and guide on margins and target prices to maximize profit.
* Ensure all customer interactions and activities are logged in the CRM system for management reporting.
* Prepare and provide quotes and tenders for products, installation, commissioning, service, spares, and training.
* Attend site surveys and meetings as necessary.
* Provide monthly reports and presentations with the sales team or independently.
* Recommend product development and pricing strategies.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and pricing.
* Assist in developing team members and cross-departmental collaboration.
* Promote a proactive, 'Can do' culture among stakeholders.
Experience
* Experience in the Standby Power Industry or related fields like switchgear is advantageous.
* Knowledge of power electronics.
* Ability to produce tenders and quotations is beneficial.
* HNC or higher qualification or relevant experience preferred.
