An Ofsted-rated Good college in Greater Manchester is on the lookout for Carpentry and Joinery Lecturers to join their growing apprenticeship team. Whether you’ve worked on-site, in commercial or domestic settings, your real-world knowledge is exactly what the next generation needs. And don’t worry, no teaching experience is required. The college will fully support you to gain your teaching and assessing qualifications on the job.
The Role:
1. Train and assess apprentices working towards their Level 3 carpentry and joinery qualification.
2. Deliver sessions in college and on-site, supporting learners with both technical and professional skills.
3. Collaborate with employers to ensure apprentices are progressing and job-ready.
4. Make a real difference by helping shape the future workforce in the carpentry and joinery sector.
What You Need:
1. Industry experience as a qualified carpenter and joiner.
2. Minimum Level 3 carpentry and joinery qualification.
3. A genuine desire to mentor and support young carpenters and joiners.
What's on Offer:
1. Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (based on experience).
2. Part time or Full time.
