Whether you are an experienced Supply Chain Assistant from a manufacturing background or a motivated individual looking to kickstart a career in Purchasing and Supply, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this varied role, you will support the full lifecycle of Supply Chain operations, including:* Expediting & Supplier Liaison: Contacting suppliers daily via phone and email to track order acknowledgments and delivery progress.* ERP Management: Maintaining the ENVEA ERP system with real-time data and escalating potential delivery delays to the Supply Chain Manager.* Production Support: Liaising with the production team to provide delivery updates and resolve component shortages.* Procurement: Purchasing direct materials, equipment, and consumables, as well as onboarding new suppliers.* Stock Control: Conducting Perpetual Inventory (PI) counting, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with stock management.* Administration: Resolving invoice queries, gathering data for reports, and maintaining the purchasing database.What You’ll Need* Education: Well-educated with good GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) and A-Levels (or equivalent). Further education in a numerical, engineering, or science-based subject is a plus.* Experience: Previous experience in Purchasing, Material Control, or Manufacturing administration is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.* Tech Savvy: Strong IT literacy, particularly in MS Excel.
