Marketing Director defines Barry Callebaut marketing strategy for food manufacturers in the UK&I and leads its execution to achieve the UK&I Gameplan and commercial objectives. Together with your team, you partner with the commercial, R&D and Academy departments in order to create a commercial engine, delivering impact for our company and our customers
Key Responsibilities
1. Shape and execute wining portfolio and innovation strategy, including regional innovation funnel
2. Shape and execute impactful segment plans
3. Shape differentiating customer journey to address the needs of all customers in the region across market segments
4. Create and deploy communication channel strategy to deliver commercial objectives
5. Ensure that commercial strategy and marketing plans are fueled by powerful consumer and customer insights
6. Build a high performing regional marketing team
7. Liaise with cross functional teams across the organization to ensure that marketing strategy and activities are aligned with commercial priorities
About you
8. Masters in Economics/Business/Food Engineering
9. 10y+ of experience in Brand/Category Marketing/NPD in B2C
10. Experience in developing marketing mixes for innovations and bring innovations to market is a must
11. English (full proficiency). Any other European language is a plus.
12. Creating & implementing mid and long term business growth strategies based on market insight
13. Working with creative partners to develop appealing and differentiating brand assets
14. Innovation development, management, launch & activation
15. Communication channel strategies, ‘digital first’ customer journey
16. Deep understanding of key challenges of B2C companies, private label producers as well as retailers
17. Experience of working in a multi-cultural international environment
18. Brand and portfolio architecture
19. Translating market and consumer insights into appealing concepts and actionable plans
