Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse to join our team on a Part time basis for one day hours per week.
We are a medium sized practice in central Moreton who take pride in caring for the patients in our local community.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include: providing care for the presenting patient, taking care history, clinical assessments and evaluation of care. To support and manage chronic conditions such as, Asthma, COPD Diabetic reviews, Spirometry reviewsas well as supporting with: Cervical smears, Child imms and other duties that fall under the nurses remit.
To work collaboratively with GPs, ANP's, nursing team and all other partnerships in our community such as PCN services.
We also work closely with Universities in our area and regularly have students working along side both GP's and Nurses to help grow and develop our future work force.
Using EMIS and working towards achieving high QOF results using Ardens templates.
About us
Moreton Group Practice we have a clinical team consisting of GPs, four ANP's, four practice nurses and three HCA's. They are supported by a large admin team comprising of Medical Secretaries, Medicines Managers and Administrators.
We also run a complex dressing clinic which helps serves patients with complex dressing needs across the Wirral area.
We are a friendly team passionate about providing excellence in care to our patients. We are based over two sites and the role will require working over both. The sites are both within walking distance of each other.
We were rated "Good" at our last CQC inspection. We are high achievers in QOF and other enhanced services.
Moreton Group Practice are also attached to Moreton and Meols PCN who provide additional health professional roles, for instance pharmacists, physiotherapists, paramedics, health & well being coaches and more to our team.

Job responsibilities
1. Recognise and work within own competence and professional code of conduct as regulated by the NMC Produce accurate, complete records of patient consultation, consistent with legislation, policies and procedures
2. Prioritise, organise and manage own workload in a manner that maintains and promotes quality
3. Deliver care according to NSF, NICE guidelines and evidence-based care
4. Assess effectiveness of care delivery through self and peer review, benchmarking and formal evaluation
5. Initiate and participate in the maintenance of quality governance systems and processes across the organisation and its activities
6. Utilise the audit cycle as a means of evaluating the quality of the work of self and the team, implementing improvements where required
