We are hiring for the position of Lead Performance Facilitator.
Fee: Up to £3,600 | Deadline: Tuesday 2 September, 12pm
We’re seeking a skilled and imaginative Lead Performance Facilitator to collaborate with the Hidden Spire Collective—adults with lived experience of homelessness and disadvantage—to create a new live performance.
The project involves 8 creative sessions from mid-September to mid-November, culminating in a public performance on Monday 17 November, as part of Our Freedom: Then & Now, a nationwide Future Arts Centres project marking 80 years since WWII.
Applicants should have experience in devising, writing, movement, directing, dramaturgy, or composition, and be confident working inclusively with diverse adults. Your role will be to collaboratively develop a script or performance text that reflects the group’s ideas.
You should have:
* Experience co-creating performances or scripts with community groups
* An inclusive facilitation style fostering creativity and collaboration
* Confidence working with adults from vulnerable backgrounds
* Availability for most sessions (Wednesdays, 2–4:30pm) and performance dates
Fee: Up to £3,600, based on approximately 16 days of work at £225/day (including preparation and meetings).
