GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic SEND Primary Teacher to join a supportive school in Mansfield.
Role Overview:
As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for pupils with additional needs. You will design and adapt lessons to support individual learning styles, foster a positive classroom environment, and ensure each child is supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Use creative teaching strategies to engage learners and promote progress.
* Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing development.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every pupil.
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, child protection, and behaviour management.
Requirements for SEND Primary Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
* Previous experience teaching pupils with SEND in UK school setting is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies and SEND best practices.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
