About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bridal Seamstress to join their team in Cardiff. This role involves working on high-value bridal garments, carrying out precise alterations, and delivering exceptional quality to clients. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about creating beautiful bridal wear and ensuring every bride feels exceptional on her special day.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform bridal gown alterations including resizing, hemming, bustles, and custom adjustments.
* Conduct fittings and provide expert guidance to clients.
* Work with delicate fabrics such as lace, silk, and embellished materials.
* Ensure high standards of hand-finishing and garment presentation.
* Manage multiple garments while meeting strict deadlines.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Seamstress, ideally within bridal, couture, or occasion wear.
* A recognised qualification in dressmaking or tailoring is preferred but not essential.
* Strong technical skills in garment alterations and construction.
* Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
* Confident working directly with clients during fittings.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
