Randstad are recruiting for 2 Freelance Site Agents for a major infrastructure Project in Buckingham
This role is £600 a day PAYE, inside IR35.
The successful candidate will be working for Tier 1 main Contractors in Joint venture for a number of years.
You will have experience in Drainage, earthworks or Structures
As a Site Agent, you will be a cornerstone of the project's success. You aren't just managing a site; you are driving the construction strategy. You will balance technical engineering oversight with commercial acumen and team leadership.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Pre-Commencement
Strategy: Assist in defining the construction strategy and leading kick-off meetings.
Documentation: Own the production of Method Statements, Environmental & Quality Plans, and Construction programmes.
Schedules: Manage procurement and design deliverable schedules to ensure no "bottlenecks" in production.
2. Operational Leadership & Resource Management
Resource Allocation: Partner with the Agent and Section Foreman to strategically allocate labour, plant, and materials.
Engineering Oversight: Manage the site engineering team, taking direct responsibility for the performance, mentoring, and professional development of Site and Section Engineers.
Temporary Works: Coordinate temporary works to ensure they meet required standards, budgets, and timelines.
3. Commercial & Performance Reporting
Financial Control: Contribute to financial forecasting, site measurement, and material reconciliations.
Progress Tracking: Produce detailed progress reports, resource plans, and cost control documents to keep the project on track financially and operationally.
4. SHEQ & Compliance
Safety & Quality: Ensure all operations conform to contract requirements and maintain the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ).
Essential Experience:
You will need to have a significant amount of experience on Structures and /or Highways
