Overview
Senior Client Relationship Manager – Enterprise Client Programme (Insurance Client Programme) based in London, hybrid working (2 days per week in office). The role is a key component of the Global Business Development Team, supporting the Head of Clients and other Insurance Key Client Senior Managers in developing and pursuing high‑value enterprise insurance clients.
Location
Based anywhere in the UK; must be able to access the London office as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with client contacts and prospects; develop client relationships and pursue growth opportunities.
* Plan, execute and measure marketing & communications activities, using analytics to drive leads and assess ROI.
* Identify trends and develop tools, products and thought‑leadership content; advise partners on usage for engagement and sales.
* Manage the sales pipeline through the Clyde & Co Sales Operating System, converting pursuits into instructions for senior partners.
* Research and intelligence: analyze internal and external data to meet client and practice needs.
* Lead enterprise client pitch opportunities; prepare client materials, conduct partner pipeline reviews, and support pitch reviews.
* Retain existing clients and expand relationships into other offices and practice areas.
* Act as Client Relationship Manager: provide overarching strategy, manage partner engagement, coordinate cross‑practice teams.
* Conduct regular relationship reviews and matter/satisfaction reviews; report findings to senior leadership.
* Ensure high‑quality deliverables, manage resources, and uphold global BD standards.
* Contribute to budget management and annual budgeting for allocated Enterprise clients.
Qualifications and Experience
* Substantial experience as a senior client development practitioner in a fast‑paced professional services environment.
* Experience setting and monitoring budgets.
* Senior‑level presence with the ability to influence clients, partners and lawyer groups.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
* Attention to detail, high accuracy, and a positive, tenacious attitude.
* Pro‑active drive to motivate resources within and outside the team.
